Distributed Dynamic Event-Based Control for Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

Get PDF
This brief studies the synchronization problem for a class of QUAD and interconnected nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs). A dynamic event-based control scheme is designed, and two event-based synchronization conditions are constructed by utilizing stability theory. Moreover, the Zeno-behavior can be excluded in the MASs. An example and its simulation are given to verify the applicability of the designed dynamic event-based protocol for MASs.</p

Boundedness and stability for Cohen–Grossberg neural network with time-varying delays

Get PDF
AbstractIn this paper, a model is considered to describe the dynamics of Cohen–Grossberg neural network with variable coefficients and time-varying delays. Uniformly ultimate boundedness and uniform boundedness are studied for the model by utilizing the Hardy inequality. Combining with the Halanay inequality and the Lyapunov functional method, some new sufficient conditions are derived for the model to be globally exponentially stable. The activation functions are not assumed to be differentiable or strictly increasing. Moreover, no assumption on the symmetry of the connection matrices is necessary. These criteria are important in signal processing and the design of networks

On the Exponential Stability and Periodic Solutions of Delayed Cellular Neural Networks

Get PDF
AbstractA set of criteria is presented for the global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solutions of delayed cellular neural networks (DCNNs) by constructing suitable Lyapunov functionals, introducing many parameters and combining with the elementary inequality technique. These criteria have important leading significance in the design and applications of globally stable DCNNs and periodic oscillatory DCNNs. In addition, earlier results are extended and improved; other results are contained. Two examples are given to illustrate the theory

Global exponential synchronization of quaternion-valued memristive neural networks with time delays

Get PDF
This paper extends the memristive neural networks (MNNs) to quaternion field, a new class of neural networks named quaternion-valued memristive neural networks (QVMNNs) is then established, and the problem of drive-response global synchronization of this type of networks is investigated in this paper. Two cases are taken into consideration: one is with the conventional differential inclusion assumption, the other without. Criteria for the global synchronization of these two cases are achieved respectively by appropriately choosing the Lyapunov functional and applying some inequality techniques. Finally, corresponding simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the correctness of the proposed results derived in this paper

Finite-time generalized synchronization of nonidentical delayed chaotic systems

Get PDF
This paper deals with the finite-time generalized synchronization (GS) problem of drive-response systems. The main purpose of this paper is to design suitable controllers to force the drive-response system realize GS in a finite time. Based on the finite-time stability theory and nonlinear control theory, sufficient conditions are derived that guarantee finite-time GS. This paper extends some basic results from generalized synchronization to delayed systems. Because finite-time GS means the optimality in convergence time and has better robustness, the results in this paper are important. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed control techniques

Improved synchronization analysis of competitive neural networks with time-varying delays

Get PDF
Synchronization and control are two very important aspects of any dynamical systems. Among various kinds of nonlinear systems, competitive neural network holds a very important place due to its application in diverse fields. The model is general enough to include, as subclass, the most famous neural network models such as competitive neural networks, cellular neural networks and Hopfield neural networks. In this paper, the problem of feedback controller design to guarantee synchronization for competitive neural networks with time-varying delays is investigated. The goal of this work is to derive an existent criterion of the controller for the exponential synchronization between drive and response neutral-type competitive neural networks with time-varying delays. The method used in this brief is based on feedback control gain matrix by using the Lyapunov stability theory. The synchronization conditions are given in terms of LMIs. To the best of our knowledge, the results presented here are novel and generalize some previous results. Some numerical simulations are also represented graphically to validate the effectiveness and advantages of our theoretical results

Razumikhin and Krasovskii stability of impulsive stochastic delay systems via uniformly stable function method

Get PDF
This paper generalizes Razumikhin-type theorem and Krasovskii stability theorem of impulsive stochastic delay systems. By proposing uniformly stable function (USF) in the form of impulse as a new tool, some properties about USF and some novel pth moment decay theorems are derived. Based on these new theorems, the stability theorems of impulsive stochastic linear delay system are acquired via the Razumikhin method and the Krasovskii method. The obtained results enhance the elasticity of the impulsive gain by comparing the previous results. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of theoretical results
